It’s important to know what an optometrist can do for you and how our different services can help you maintain healthy, pristine vision. At Trinity Eye Associates, we offer services ranging from glasses fittings to glaucoma testing. Here’s a list of some of the services you will find at our office in Oviedo!
Comprehensive Eye Exams. Comprehensive eye exams are designed to determine whether or not you have refractive error, can benefit from glasses and whether or not you have an eye disease.
Contact Lens Exams and Fittings. If you want contact lenses, optometrists will evaluate you to ensure that contact lenses are right for your eyes, and if so, what kind. Some patients prefer soft lenses; others use rigid gas-permeable lenses. The type of lenses best suited for your eyes will depend on your unique condition, which is determined during your contact lens exam.
Glasses. Optometrists can help you find exactly the right glasses for your face and for your eyes. Optometrists can also bend your glasses to properly fit your face.
Glaucoma Testing. Glaucoma is a condition that causes damage to the nerve fibers of the optic nerve. Nerve damage can cause permanent vision loss, and is a leading cause of blindness in older people. Your optometrist can test you for signs of glaucoma to prevent vision loss form occurring.
Vision Therapy & Rehabilitation. Vision therapy is a form of therapy for both your eyes and your brain. It is a non-invasive and highly effective treatment for many common eye problems like crossed eyes, lazy eye, double vision, convergence insufficiency. Vision Therapy can also be used to help reading and learning disabilities.
